HPC have recently submitted a development application for landfilling of a 45 million cubic metre mining void, involving rehabilitation of the existing mine site and an option for the establishment of sport and recreation facilities. The project also includes the operation of a waste transfer station to maximise resource recovery and re-use opportunities.
