HPC successfully negotiated development approval and ERA 25 (meat processing) to increase the daily throughput capacity of Kilcoy abattoir from 750 head/day to 1,250 head/day. HPC also advised on the wastewater treatment and irrigation regime to ensure all additional wastewater resulting from the capacity increase is treated and disposed of safely.
